Was wondering if there is a way to run the readiness test on volkswagens? I know with the vag com, you can force all the monitors in the bay. I noticed there is a readiness test on the maxisys but it is just a status. Can this be added? Anyone know the estimated date for the new update? I emailed support about a few things, wondering ofthey will be added.

Hey i just got my trial maxisys today and hooked up to a 2006 audi and the readiness test was there as soon as I went into 01 Engine.  I didnt have time to try it but I would assume it works close to how vagcom/vcds does.  I have a 06 VW myself so i will try it when i have time.

Just verified, once in (01) Engine I was able to click readiness test on my 06 GTI.  It shows you the conditions you need to do, for mine it was brake on and throttle wide open.  Then it took over and began running monitors, I failed the evap small leak test and it aborted the rest of the monitors.

Its weird because I see the button for the readiness test, but I just get a monitor status.
No prompts to do anything or anything

You do readiness tru basic settings and following some instructions associated with them. VAGCOM just does them in a sequence.

Here is some info 4 U guys:

Well how about an automated readiness like identical to the vagcom? That is what I
    was looking for.

Well, no tool is perfect. I got ODIS VASPC VAGCOM and still I bought MaxSys, mostly
    for speed.

well I was told by support that all software is derived from factory equipment so technically it should be identical. Imo

What year VW were you trying to do this on?  On my 06 GTI I was able to run the automated readiness test no problem, as far as i know though this is only available on VW that use CAN bus.  I simply hit readiness test in address 01 and it ran through the monitors until my evap failed.
